    it already exists bro. https://www.mostoke.com/look/

You can upload photos directly from your profile. Might be quirky for the next couple of days until the updated site is made live.. but it works. You can also upload videos to the “bros” section of the “watch” page.

Thanks Man. Agreed. That’s exactly what we’re doing. There are tons of really cool forum products out there and the devs have tested most of them. I sent “xenforo” to them, it’s not one of the ones they showed me… but not sure if they looked at it and ruled it our for some reason? I didn’t really pay attention to the names of the ones they…[Read more]

Thanks for the input. Yes, we’re in the process of creating our own forecast. The widgets your seeing on that page are two years old. The api’s for them have change since we put them there so they aren’t very functional.

Thanks for the suggestion, we have added view counter for each topic thread. Now whenever someone view a topic thread, that topic view counter will increase . As this is a new functionality included counter starts from zero.

Haha. Exactly. It’s all good though, we wanted a reason to make this site a 23 footer but didn’t really have a reason. Now we do!

As an update – We got to test a good portion of the updates and changes last night. I’m pretty sure everyone is going to be really happy, it’s going to be a whole new world. Hopefully implementing everything…[Read more]

I wanted to start this topic because I feel that many newcomers to this site are looking for other means of finding surf forecasts.
It seems that since this is a community driven site, it makes since that the community should take part in sharing resources for finding waves, and this seems like a good home for a thread that both users and admins…

Fix the site problems, people will participate. This site definitely isn’t ready for prime time.

Agreed. We weren’t expecting the company. But now that we have it, we’ve pulled all of our third world sweatshop labor off of the Hurley order and devoted it to fixing the place up for you Yankee.

    Yes sir!

    1. Looks like we’re going to be getting a brand spanking new forum! Replacing the current one is going to be a quicker and better path to usability improvements than updating the current set up. Hoping to have it in place next week. timing really depends on how much customizing we have to do the provider we end up using. In the mean…[Read more]

Creating this as a more “in view” way to keep everyone updated on the improvements here at mostoke.com

As most of you know this site was built for a good purpose but has been sitting for about 2 years with no maintenance, updates, new content, etc. Now that there is renewed interest in the site we’ve put it back on the development list and are in…[Read more]

Check the menu on the top right. This is pretty big site, lots more pages and content. Most of the articles in “news” and “read” sections are old, but good stuff. One of the guys that was doing a lot of the writing for the site was an editor for surfer mag for 10 years
